Artist’s comments: “A watercolour painting deliberately in a traditional sporting art style showing two riders and their horses hacking home toward the sunset. This was created especially for a slightly cheeky card design – originally a Christmas card, but also useful as a general greetings card. The reference for the painting is a little bit from the National Side Saddle championships, a little bit from Chatsworth Horse Trials and a little bit of a traditional background all combining to create A Little Bit on the Side.”
