Important notice re deliveries
Please note that deliveries to Europe may be delayed by post-Brexit customs checks. HorseDrawn has been issued an Economic Operators Registration number for exports, and will complete correct customs paperwork, but cannot be held responsible for delays. Please also note that overseas buyers may be liable for customs and/or other duties and/or VAT. Horsedrawn has no control over these charges, and there is no way for these fees to be paid in advance.

Delivery Prices

Currently we calculate shipping costs by checkout price. So far we have found this accurate than calculating by weight. The prints cost much more to send than the cards despite being similar weight as parcel dimensions become a factor. As of 23rd February, prices are held from 2020, but will be under post-Brexit review in March 2021 as our shipping agents have increased their costs.

We will endeavour to get your order to you as soon as possible, please note that we are a small family business. *If we are at a show, or you have ordered a mounted (matted) or framed print it may take a little while longer but we think our artwork is worth the short wait and hope that you agree!



Care instructions for opening and handling loose prints will be included on the outside of your package,

so please read these before opening the print packaging.

Loose prints are:

  • rolled into a strong cardboard tube;

  • sent by Royal Mail (or ParcelForce if oversize);

  • usually dispatched within two working days*.


*'Print To Order' Prints - some prints are not held in stock so will be printed to order. As we use Fine Art Giclée printers, this may take a few days and we will contact you within 2 days of your order to advise you if this is the case.


*Mounted (matted) Prints are not held as stock, so will be mounted to order. This may take a few days. We will endeavour to dispatch mounted prints within five working days. Mounted prints will be boxed and sent flat by Royal Mail or other postal service. For prices, options and shipping quotes on mounted prints, please contact us through the form on the contact page.


Framed artwork can only be shipped by Art Courier, which is subject to quote, at which time a delivery time

will also be advised. For prices, options and shipping quotes on framed prints, please contact us using the

Greetings Cards

All cards are sent by Royal Mail (First Class). All card orders will be sent within two working days.

Please note that delivery may take extra time at Christmas and other seasonally busy postal times.

How long will my order take (UK)?

UK Standard delivery is sent Royal Mail 1st class (2-5 working days from dispatch).

Please make sure that the shipping address is correct as we’re unable to redirect orders once they are on their way to you. We aim to dispatch all orders within 48 hours (excluding weekends) of being received, and we post orders on weekdays only. For some print orders we may not be carrying stock; if so, we will have to order from our printer and your order may take longer before dispatch. If this is the case we will contact you within 2 working days of order to advise you of this. A dispatch confirmation will be sent to you when the order has been posted. If you suspect a lost delivery after 5 working days from the date of the dispatch confirmation, then please contact us quoting your name, order number and full address and we will look into it for you straight away.

Delivered when I wasn’t home (UK)? 

Royal Mail/Parcelforce will leave you a card letting you know that a delivery has been attempted. The card should have detailed instructions informing you on how to obtain your parcel. You will have a specified period from the date of attempted delivery to rearrange delivery, after this date items will automatically be returned to us. If the item is returned to us in this way, we will need to charge for re-posting the item to you. To avoid delays in delivering your parcel, we recommend having your item shipped to your daytime address, for example, your work address.


International Delivery/Shipping

We use Royal Mail Airmail for overseas postage, ParcelForce for packages over 60cm in length or in special cases one of our trusted couriers. Please note this is not a trackable service.

Costs will be calculated for you during checkout before you finalise your order.

Deliveries within Europe, including Channel Islands and R.O.I usually takes 3-7 working days to arrive, but can take up to one month. Delivery dates depend on your country’s postal service and are outside of our control.


Deliveries outside Europe usually take 5-10 working days to arrive. But it can take longer and can take up to two months. Delivery dates are dependant on your country’s postal service and are outside of our control.


You may be charged a fee by your local customs office. You can check this with your country’s customs office. As of 1st January 2021customs duties may also be charged by countries in the European Union on deliveries from the UK.


We deliver to most major countries worldwide.
