About the event
An exciting technique-based workshop in oils and acrylics, introducing the basics of painting people as a way of adding life and interest to your paintings. You will learn many tips for drawing/painting a sitting and a standing figure, including simple ways to make your figure ‘active’ by indicating movement. After a series of exercises, including basic linear perspective to convincingly place multiple figures, the rest of the day will be spent applying lessons learned in a final figurative painting. Advance booking required as places are limited.
